in a forest night a wolf meets a wolf and he thinks, oh, it´s a wolf and a man meets a man - and he think and imaginated danger, it´s a murderer deep in the forest night we are hunted by our fears and killed by the certainly of perfect progress it´s just a question of normality and the reduction of dreams our grandparents were used to bath in the rivers but for us it was already a matter of course that it was not possible to do and our children the idea will never occur that could swim azt the shores of the oceans and our grandchildren will find it normal to protect themselves against the sun beams with synthetic protecting cloths when they move - if they moves from oasis to oasis on the last habitable zones of europe just like once the wulfes

1.on red wet ground with orange light around the grey sky is high we´re proud not to crie when flashy little lights are on their search on immateriel highways called nerves do you want to drift away cappilar´s sparkling inthousand heart´s beat step by step faster than light deserts of ice, within the lungs run neon-writings, danger signs run like the hunter the hall bizare-avon´s dschungel cryptical ells, break free by a flame red and blue flashes crossover time explode out that tunnel the oceans of night glides all over horizon 2. you´re standing in a corner with a quizzical smile i see the fire in your eyes when you let them all pass by flashlight couloures up your face the crowd moves like a wave i´m screamin for a view i´m dancin just for you although it´s just another game in your illumned mind i´m obsessed by your hate i´m tortured by your saying can you hear me callin ? you´re isolated by a fear 3. the world is changeing all the time in a pleasant beat idiot ballromm, drugs and wine you´re searchin for the heat you can´t support the silence because it is too loud aggression and non verbal violence you fear death in the crowd listening to the pleasant beat there is a new impression it´s someone warm you meet causing a chain reaction so move to another place to enjo your interaction if you stay, you´re too cool it´s a commercial place with commercial rules

when i have to feed you on the port of the factory my bones are smashed by the machines too when i have to feed you on the port of the factory my mind is hurt by the robots too in the soft morning light your eyes warm me up in the cold misty grey i want to stay when this zombie view creeps in your eyes i might cry and destroy i might scream and kill them who torture you with the so called work in which you gonna drow in deep stangeness these robot´s programmed to form robots out of human material that also gives who wanna form a robot out of you who want you become a senseless machine i want to push away the sadness in your eyes but how could i do that - without burning down the factory i want to see you walking - proud and strong i want to free you - i want to touch you out of here -your smile is a light out of here - we are free believe me, it´s not you and me that makes this world crues and strange it´s you and me who gives a little light it which let shiver the masters in fear when slaves start to life, to love and to fight, no one could stop them at the end of the night

my mind walk through the streets of peking follows the roaring sniffin´the trial of the tanks of xiao ping this is no massacre - this is a sympton staring in black eyes sleeping in streams staring dead angles brought to death by the tanks of xiao ping this is not a massacre - this is a sympton collapse - cadaver- control these events are so normal-standart-regular showing the norm of human interaction between them who try to lead and them who try to live this is not a massacre - this is a sympton of the disease with the thousand names

stepenwulfes are in the city again all together and no one show control public, but not for everyone steppenwulfes walk down the street a vaporized flame in disorder - out of the law the death call gloom softly and outta control a liberty dance beyond the doom steppenwulfes in the cities floating and free the dawn - anarchy

days were grey like never before and we were fighting our frenetic fight we tried so hard to show people the right way of living and thinking but it was a great pressure of time we faught for the people and against the last great catastrophe the last great catastrophe of this world and it will be our own end even and days were grey like never before and we were punished by our aknowledgement by our sad fear and the hope in our minds we workked so hard to show people how to live together in freedom how to use their mind and their power how to trait their brain and their bodies but days were grey like never before and it was a terrible race we had to stand it was the only possibility to realize freedom to live it the whole time against state against law and order and god and no government was able to stop us there was no possibility to chain us ´cos our monds didn´t accept the jails so we lived the live we wanted and the days started to grow fancy fancy like our live´s were when i think back to that time, brothers and sisters, it was a hard one we never had been sure to win but we faught, ´cause the faught itself freed our minds when i think back to this time, i shiver about the great danger we have been able tpo prevent ´cos days had been grey like never before ... then .. once upon a long long time

Review from The Mmattrix No. 4 (Spring & Summer 1992)

"Outdoor Expressions" (M&E 023, C46)

I could use one word; "wow", but I'll try to tell you more. Tau are one of my favourite underground bands, very much like Siouxsie and The Creatures but with an experimental edge to it. Through the mood and gloom of "The Wolf Song", to the haunting synths of "The Algorhythm Dream", this is a superb album. The singer has a wild and unique voice, just hints at Siouxsie every so often... And that percussion... yeah... a wise investment...
